Foreign nationals have to reach the Indian Mountaineering Foundation (IMF) for a briefing & to complete formalities.
You will have to assemble for your expedition at Manali, where you will be briefed in detail about your itinerary, basic rules and regulations and for overnight stay
It is about a 100 km drive from Manali to Batal. It takes about 5 hrs. to cover the entire route. On the way you will get to witness the scenic beauty of the mountains with barren rocks and forest area along the way
Due to the change in the altitude, it will be the rest day at Batal. It will be done to make you adapt to the high-altitude environment. It will be the start of your preparation for the expedition to CB 13 & CB 14 peak.
The day will start early with the climb to the higher terrains of the mountain. It will be a long walk to the terrain through some challenging pathways. This will be a good experience and provide idea about the challenges ahead
It will be the rest day at base camp for acclimatization to the environment, besides there will be the training on the handling of the equipment and the briefing of the things ahead
During this course you will summit the peak. After your conquest you will return to summit camp and further return journey
These will be the reserve days for the scaling of summit in case there is some unpredictability of weather conditions at the peak
We will do the beating retreat to the base camp from advanced base camp. Same route as taken during the ascend
We will return to Batal from base camp for our overnight stay
The last course of the expedition will be completed by our return to Manali after our Summit conquest.
These are the days that are kept in reserve just in case there is a delay due to adverse weather during the expedition.

Cancelation Policy


Cash Refund (All events including Friendship Peak Expedition except other Mountaineering Expeditions) - Cash refunds are only available for bookings made without any discounts, such as promotional codes or dynamic discounts. Additionally, cash refunds are not available for shifted batch bookings or if the booking status is "Booked". The amount of the refund will be determined based on the following guidelines:


  • • Cancellations made up to 31 days before the departure date will incur a 5% deduction.
  • • Cancellations made between 30 and 21 days before the departure date incur a 20% deduction.
  • • Cancellations made between 20 and 11 days before the departure date incur a 50% deduction.
  • • Cancellations made less than 11 days before the departure date are not eligible for a cash refund.

Refunds will be processed back to the bank account or credit card account used to pay for the event i.e., the source of payment. The amount refunded will be based on the net amount paid for the event, excluding additional components such as transportation, rent, or portage.
